Rostered Day Off (RDO)
When an employee works slightly longer (40 hours) rather than the standard 38 hour week the accrued time can equate to a paid day off once a fortnight or once a month. This means the employee doesn’t need to use their annual leave. Some businesses and organisations that offer RDOs as part of their workplace agreement allow employees to accrue up to five rostered days off.
