Do small businesses have WHS obligations in Australia?

Question

Accepted Answer

Yes. Under Australian WHS laws, small businesses have the same duty of care as larger employers. Every PCBU must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers by identifying and managing hazards and ensure workers have the right training and information. Your size affects how you meet your obligations, not whether they apply.
