Most businesses have safety policies, induction processes and incident reporting procedures in place.

But would those systems actually prevent an incident, or simply document what should have happened?

As well as that, today’s workplace risks extend well beyond slips, trips and falls. Psychosocial hazards such as excessive workloads, conflict, and poor change management can all create risks that are less visible and easier to overlook.

Regulators expect businesses to do more than maintain policies and risk registers. Employers need to demonstrate how hazards are identified, how controls are chosen and whether those controls remain effective over time.

Join us for this practical webinar to identify where workplace safety gaps commonly arise and what businesses can do to strengthen their systems before an incident, complaint or inspection exposes them.

In just 60 minutes:

  • The Risks Businesses Overlook: Identify physical and psychological hazards that may be missed in everyday operations
  • Policies vs Practice: Understand why documented procedures may not protect your business if they are not followed, tested or reviewed
  • Are Your Controls Working?: Learn how to recognise gaps in training, supervision, consultation and incident response
  • Preparing for Scrutiny: Discover what records, actions and workplace practices can help demonstrate that safety risks are being actively managed

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask your questions during the live Q&A and receive practical guidance from our experts.

Please note that this is general information and not intended to replace legal advice under any circumstances.
